Pride flags are also flying outside EPA, the Agriculture and Interior departments, and a host of other federal agencies, some for the first time ever. It represents a stark shift from just a few years ago, when the Trump administration rejected requests to fly rainbow pride flags from federal properties. Downtown Washington has gotten more colorful this month as DOE and other federal agencies have hoisted rainbow flags to adorn their drab headquarters.
